Treasures

Growing up I had a
jewelry box where
I kept a collection of
stones instead of pearls.
I can only begin to explain
why I save your sounds.

  1. This little bit expanded in my mind to a very great deal. A begining is often enough of an explanation.

  8. I resonate with stones instead of pearls. And I love the saving of someone's sounds. Very cool.

  9. Our memories choose to retain the things that mean the most to us - to the child, those stones were worth keeping. You ask us to look inside ourselves with the truth of your comparison.

  13. Provoke me to think and thank you! Love this. Yesterday my 6-year old grandsonoffered up a handful of pebbles, a "collection". A gift for me because, he said, I have all the beautiful things. Childhood perspective. Perfect.
