How wolves change rivers

You came into my life
to change my course.

You caused my beasts to
stay away

and brought songbirds along
so my soul had a chance to sing.

You've saved me a place
in a better, simpler world.

You've engineered me into
a river more adaptable to swings.

  2. This definitely a love poem! The earth and the wolves love each other, nourish each other sustain each other. I'm so glad you wrote this.

  3. This video is quite simply amazing, Kenia. Thank you so much for sharing it here. It provides all the reasons we dumb humans need to know that everything fits together in a pattern that works without human interference.

That you have taken the essence of that and transformed it into poetry comes as no surprise to me.

  16. It's amazing how a person..or animal can change the world..by giving to others..
    and sometimes..never recognizing it...
There are many lone wolves in the world..caring for others..that never find
    the rivers they make..whole...
