Do you understand
my universe is
so little
so little
I carry
its celestial spheres
its celestial spheres
like a pendant
on a necklace?
It's so delicate that
by rolling over in bed
sleeplessly
I turn the heaven
on their axis,
causing the stars
to revolve.
on a necklace?
It's so delicate that
by rolling over in bed
sleeplessly
I turn the heaven
on their axis,
causing the stars
to revolve.
At the end (and beginning) of the day, we can only be the witness to what we particularly witness! Your poem captures the essential egotism of being alive! Thanks, Kenia. I especially love the rolling over in bed aspects! k.
ReplyDeleteThe Greek Titans were definitely enormous, and I can only imagine what it would be like to carry the whole world. There are endless wonders to be held that much I know.
